I agree that his burrowing is causing the land some issues.Д«ut a fun theory to think about, is why were the ancient vampires turned from their god? I think it could be that the Hylden cursed the vampires ALONG with the EG to be Ravenous and hungry forever. The elder God is being fed from them now as well. Then when flung into the super far future where Kain lives, demons are everywhere. Then you have Kain and his armies, fighting, (if you cannonize it the failure at the hands of the Hylden lord, and then his eventual victory) you have Kain essentially wipe out the human race. Vampires and human souls by the thousands. Thus growing to great potential in the war. So I think when the EG found a fanatic like Mobius and used his connection to the pillars to effect him as the god of the ancients, it gave him a way to feed on them in mass. Vorador in BO1 talks about how they basically never interact with humans except to feed and that the hunters are a nuisance. I also think that in the far past the amount of vampires who are dying is smaller before william is martyred and the crusade begins. The EG sends Raziel to consume souls and feed himself. I think vampires have a similar effect, the soul ages and strengthens and becomes better food. As a soul sits in the spirit world it gains power, seen in SR1 by the wraiths, the vampires coming back to life once dead for long times, and then even by Dumah. I think that as far as the EG growing, there is something to think about with souls. They are corrupted at the moment of Kains birth, he had to kill all the guardians and then himself to rid them of corruption. Kain talks about it when Raziel and him meet at the pillars as they are corrupted. He found Ariels body slain and went mad, infecting every guardian with madness. So it wasn't the elder God that was responsible for corrupting the pillars, that was caused by Nupraptor. Just a theory but what does everybody think? Why Moebius was ordered to kill Kain.and went on his crusade to slaughter all vampires including Vorador. Which is why he keeps on DEMANDING Raziel slaughter Kain. Eventually, it had to feed on something.at least while it waited for Kain's soul. When they became immortal, he was unable to feed on them. The Vampire Souls he had been consuming was much more nourishing than the souls of humans. It is my theory that it is the False God that is feeding off of the land. Before the days of Vorador even.but it didn't seem to make him grow right? Why has he changed? Sure he's had a bit to feed on, but he was feeding since the ancient Vampires back in the days long before Janos and the others became cursed.

He's everywhere and seems to hold all of the answers. But when you see him in Soul Reaver he's massive.

Remember in Soul Reaver 2 which was back in the past before the corruption of the Pillars? When you see the Elder God he's nothing.just the size of an ordinary giant Squid. But I have a theory that suggests something the decay of the land is something more. Sure Kain's empire messed it up a bit with building and constructing the smoke stacks. So why was the land 'Wrecked with Cataclysms' and destroyed? As we all know, the Pillars were just a prison for the Hylden. Kain's refusal to sacrifice himself did NOTHING to the land of Nosgoth. He's just a parasitic thing that has managed to attach itself to the Wheel of Fate. So we all know the Elder God is a false god. So this is going to be interesting to lay out. Spoilers incoming to those who are members in the forum and HAVEN'T seen/played Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, and LOK Defiance.

So I've been playing/watching the series again and I come upon a theory.
